The Village of Shelby Planning Commission approved the minutes of its Nov. 26, 2024, meeting and viewed a Michigan Mainstreet training video during a short session on Dec. 17, 2024.
Chairperson Ross Field called the meeting to order at 12:00 P.M. and the roll call showed Planning Commission members Samantha Near, Paul Inglis and Ross Field present; Village Administrator Phil Morse and Clerk/Treasurer Crystal Budde attended as staff. Paul Inglis moved to approve the Nov. 26 minutes "as corrected," and the motion was seconded by Samantha Gottschalk. The motion carried on a voice vote with all in favor.
Under administrative business, the commission watched a video described in the agenda as pertaining to Michigan Mainstreet. The transcript records only that the video was watched; no presentation, discussion or follow-up action about the program was recorded.
