At its Feb. 5 meeting the Silver Creek Township Board approved several routine financial and maintenance items, including authorization of up to $30,000 for crack-filling work on township roads.
Supervisor Andy Christensen moved to approve up to $30,000 for crack filling after reviewing quotes; Supervisor Ryan Nelson seconded and the motion carried 4-0. The board also approved the list of disbursements (motion by Christensen, second by Nelson, carried 4-0) and reviewed audit items: checks 19769, 19770 and 19773 were matched to approved disbursements. Chair Helman reported that the township's first payroll had been processed through ADP.
These expenditures and approvals are recorded in the minutes; the board did not discuss funding sources or contract awards in detail during the meeting. The board directed staff to proceed with the crack-filling work within the approved authorization.
