County council confirms two Airport Authority appointments; Robinson approved 12–3

Allegheny County Council confirmed multiple appointments to the Allegheny County Airport Authority during its July meeting, including a roll‑call approval of Sen. Devlin Robinson and a voice vote approving Kendra Whitlock Ingram.

Council considered the second reading for Kendra Whitlock Ingram’s appointment to the Airport Authority, a term running through Dec. 31, 2030, sponsored by the county executive. After a motion and a request for a voice vote, the council approved the appointment by voice vote.

Council then considered the appointment of Sen. Devlin Robinson to the Airport Authority for a term through Dec. 31, 2030. "Senator Robinson was affirmatively recommended," Council Member Madonna Emerley said during the discussion. Council conducted a roll‑call vote and the clerk announced the tally as 12 yes, 3 no; the motion passed.

A separate personnel referral to send Mister Spencer to the council pool was also made and approved by voice vote.

The appointments were sponsored by the chief executive and sent to the Airport Authority as part of the council’s appointment review process. Council did not discuss substantive changes to the Airport Authority’s policies during the session. The council adjourned after presenting several proclamations and receiving public comment.
