"I'm requesting if we can move budget in that fund from 16, which is facilities, to 33, which is joint training facility, with no resolution," the finance staff member said, explaining that the fund itself would not change and that the split was driven by system limitations.
Several members suggested drafting a single resolution to give ongoing authority; staff offered to prepare that resolution and to record a note in the Finance & Audit minutes in the interim. One member warned that requiring a resolution for routine $4,000–$5,000 internal adjustments would slow operations; staff and members agreed to have staff prepare a resolution and return it for formal adoption.
No formal vote was recorded on July 9; the committee reached consensus to permit the administrative action now and to have a resolution drafted for formal approval later.
