Louisa County supervisors approve agenda and minutes; chair says county does not plan to sell Spring Street

The Louisa County Board of Supervisors convened at 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 12, 2025, in the supervisors’ office and approved the meeting agenda and the minutes of the Nov. 4 meeting. Chair Shawn Maine presided over the session and the board recorded attendance including Supervisors Kevin Hardin and Scot Hunt and several members of the public.
During the public-input portion, resident Bill Poggemiller asked whether the county planned to sell Spring Street. Chair Shawn Maine said the county does not intend to sell the street "at this time," signaling no immediate plan to transfer the roadway to a private owner. The transcript records Maine’s statement as the board’s current position; no formal motion or vote on a sale was offered.
Procedurally, Scot Hunt moved to approve the Nov. 12 agenda, seconded by Kevin Hardin; Kevin Hardin moved to approve the Nov. 4 minutes, seconded by Scot Hunt. The meeting record notes that board members vote “AYE” unless otherwise recorded; the motions were entered into the minutes as approved.
