SEIRPC asks Louisa County for $10,000 match for Great River Housing Trust Fund

Mike Norris of the Southeast Iowa Regional Planning Commission (SEIRPC) told the Louisa County Board of Supervisors on Oct. 28 that the Great River Housing Trust Fund has seen increased state support and asked the county to provide a $10,000 local match for the next fiscal year.
Norris presented the board with what SEIRPC has accomplished in the past year and stated that because the state portion is increasing the commission is seeking a local share of $10,000. The transcript records the request; no motion, vote or appropriation was recorded in the minutes for Oct. 28.
The minutes do not specify how the $10,000 would be paid (general fund, special revenue or other source), whether the board took the request under advisement, or when a decision would be scheduled. The board approved routine agenda items and one engineering motion during the meeting, but no action on the housing‑trust request was recorded.
