The motion to approve was made by Supervisor Kevin Hardin and seconded by Supervisor Scot Hunt and carried under the board's recorded practice of voting "AYE" unless otherwise noted.
The resolution states the plat was previously approved by the County Zoning Administrator and the County Engineer, "fully conforms to the laws of the State of Iowa and the subdivision regulation ordinances of Louisa County," and is "in harmony with the Comprehensive Plan and other duly adopted plans of the County." The minutes also note the City of Columbus Junction approved the subdivision because the property lies within two miles of the city limits.
The board authorized the chairman and the Louisa County Auditor to certify the resolution so that the plat and related materials may be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Louisa County. No public input on the subdivision was recorded in the minutes.
