The Louisa County Board of Supervisors on Oct. 21 adopted Resolution No. 202545 approving the Hogan Hollow Subdivision plat and designating Lot 1, a parcel described in the resolution as approximately 2.00 acres and subject to existing ingress/egress easements. The motion to approve was made by Supervisor Scot Hunt and seconded by Supervisor Kevin Hardin; the resolution was adopted with Chair Shawn Maine and Supervisors Kevin Hardin and Scot Hunt recorded as voting "AYE." ATTEST: Susan Schnedler, Auditor.
The resolution states the plat conforms with Iowa law and Louisa County zoning ordinances, that the subdivision is compatible with existing road systems and the county comprehensive plan, and authorizes the county chair and auditor to certify the resolution and related plat for recordation in the Louisa County Recorder's Office. The adopted language includes a legal description referencing the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 24, Township 75 North, Range 3 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian and notes an existing ingress/egress easement. The resolution identifies the lot boundaries and curve data for the parcel as recorded in the survey description.
The Board took the action as a formal consent-item motion during its regular session; there was no separate public hearing recorded in the minutes. The County will proceed with recordation steps authorized by the resolution; the Auditor is directed to certify the resolution and plat for filing.
