Pasadena Water and Power (PWP) is partnering with TreePeople to offer a $75 rebate on a native-plant garden kit intended to make native landscaping more accessible, Danielle Dominguez said on the Rose City Report.
Each kit includes ten 1-gallon native plants, a plant-by-number site map and a native-plant installation guide and educational materials, the announcement said. Dominguez said the plants will be locally sourced from participating nurseries and the program is designed to accommodate Southern California'specific ecological and aesthetic priorities.
PWP customers may purchase one discounted kit while supplies last; listeners were directed to the program web page to check eligibility and order information.
