The Pasadena Public Library is offering California State Parks day-use vehicle passes that library cardholders can check out for up to 21 days, Pasadena Media's Rose City Report said. The hosts noted the passes are valid at more than 200 participating state parks and that both library cards and park passes are available free of charge.
Danielle Dominguez said the passes are provided in partnership with the California State Library and directed listeners to their nearest Pasadena Public Library branch for eligibility and checkout information. Listeners without a library card were advised to visit a local branch to obtain one.
The segment included a general safety reminder for park visitors to wear appropriate clothing, bring food and water, and follow leave-no-trace guidelines.
