The City of Pasadena and Visit Pasadena hosted their third 2026 World Cup watch party on July 6 at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium Plaza, drawing families for food trucks, soccer-themed games, music and a beer garden. Belgium beat the United States 4 to 1 during the public viewing, which City organizers said was the event's highlight.
Danielle Dominguez, host of the Rose City Report, said the watch party was part of a series of public viewing events this summer; prior gatherings included the June 24 Mexico'Czech Republic match and the June 12 U.S.'Paraguay match. Dominguez said the event was organized in partnership with Visit Pasadena and received funding from Los Angeles County 5th District Supervisor Catherine Barger.
Organizers offered family-friendly activities and food-service options, and the event included a beer garden for adults. The City encouraged attendees to follow event rules and posted links and updates on its event pages for future outdoor viewing opportunities.
