He described the proposal as aligning district policy to that guidance and said the revisions will be published for public comment prior to a return for board action.
On JGCD, Dr. Thomas said the change divides and clarifies existing language on medication administration in schools rather than introducing new substantive requirements. The board moved and seconded both requests and approved placing the policies out for public review; the items are slated to return to the board at the August 13 meeting for possible formal adoption.
