Village of Waukesha: planning commission recommendations accepted; CSM and equipment purchases approved

Action Powersports / Action Boathouse — certified survey map (CSM): The commission approved reauthorization of a previously approved certified survey map (to create two lots and an outlot) on condition that the CSM be recorded within 12 months and that no additional approvals for the property (including signage) be effective until the recording is complete. The Village Board indicated it would accept the commission's recommendation.
Fire department radios — capital purchase and grant acceptance: The board approved the purchase of 10 Motorola mobile radios and associated licenses totaling $75,281.90. The purchase will be funded in part by a $50,000 state grant; the local share is drawn from existing budgeted funds. The board approved the motion to purchase and authorized the payment, with the expectation of later formal acceptance of the grant reimbursement.
Budget amendment and bills: The board approved a minor budget amendment related to an insurance recovery and vehicle repair ($340) and approved accounts payable in the amount of $85,791.33.
Votes at the meeting were recorded by voice and roll call where required; motions carried without recorded opposition on these items.
