Mayor George P. Hutnick congratulated Chief Sanfilippo, calling the new chief's appointment "a huge accomplishment" and saying the borough is "very proud."
Following the oath, Councilman DeMeo moved and Councilman Gandarinho seconded a motion to open the public session; the motion carried with all in favor. No members of the public spoke. Councilman DeMeo moved and Councilwoman Cowdrick seconded a motion to close the public session; that motion also carried with all in favor.
Councilman DeMeo moved and Councilman Gandarinho seconded a motion to adjourn; the motion passed unanimously and the meeting adjourned at approximately 7:10 p.m.
