Ogdensburg sets 9 p.m. Halloween curfew for under-18s

The Ogdensburg Borough Council approved Resolution 58-2022 during the Oct. 12 consent agenda, imposing a curfew beginning at 9:00 p.m. on Oct. 28, 29, 30 and 31, 2022 for all individuals under age 18 unless accompanied by an adult.
The resolution states it was adopted on the recommendation of the chief of police. The measure passed on the consent agenda by roll-call vote: Yeas — Alvarez, Cowdrick, Nasisi and Poyer; Nays — none; DeMeo absent.
The resolution will be implemented by local public-safety authorities for the specified dates.
