4-H WAY names coordinator in Warren County and seeks volunteers for sentencing circles

Staff reported that volunteers are being recruited to participate in sentencing circles as the program scales up. Background checks for volunteers are completed through the Clerk of Court's office and the fee is currently being waived for Warren County residents, the report states. Staff also distributed flyers to promote the 4-H WAY program and asked that announcements and materials be forwarded to the JCPC administrator for distribution.
The program’s update noted early outreach and the expectation that new referrals and volunteers will be integrated in the coming weeks. No formal vote or funding action for the 4-H WAY program was recorded at this meeting.
