At its Jan. 6 regular meeting the Williams Township Board of Supervisors approved a series of routine items, adopted several resolutions and directed staff to seek State Police assistance to remove a homeless encampment on township open space.
The board approved the minutes of Dec. 11, 2024, accepted the expense report dated Jan. 6 and the Treasurer’s reports for November and December, and authorized payment of bills (motions carried 3-0). On planning matters the board approved Resolution 2025-4, a lot-line adjustment for property at 1260 Island Park Road (motion by Michael Bryant, second by Ray Abert), carried 3-0. Zoning Officer Suzanne Borzak announced a Zoning Hearing Board meeting scheduled for Jan. 22, 2025.
Under Old Business the board approved Resolution 2025-3 concerning identity theft protections. Under New Business the board approved Resolution 2025-5 appointing a Deputy Tax Collector, Resolution 2025-6 adopting the 2025 fee schedule, Resolution 2025-7 adopting the 2025 sewer fee schedule, and Resolution 2025-8 adopting the on‑lot sewage system fee schedule; all motions were seconded and recorded as carried 3-0.
