Representatives of Mary Meuser Library presented their proposed 2025 budget at the Williams Township Board of Supervisors meeting on Nov. 13.
Dan Redington presented the library's 2025 budget and the board heard that the library is requesting $21,000 from Williams Township. Beverly Lewis thanked the board for last year's contribution and said a major 2025 project is replacing the library's handicapped ramp; the library agreed to provide proposals for the ramp to the township upon request. Township Manager Melody Ernst told the board that the township's proposed 2025 budget currently reflects $20,000 for the library.
The board did not take a separate vote to increase the library line at this meeting; the budget was approved only for advertisement at the meeting's close. The library request will be considered as part of the formal 2025 budget process when the advertisement period and subsequent adoption votes occur.
