"Our 3‑day‑a‑week program is $276 for three days a week. We're recommending a 2‑day option to provide a more affordable choice for participants," Hibbs said during the staff report; the exact two‑day fee will be set by staff as specified in the adopted fee schedule.
City staff (Chris Bassetti) also described an automatic 3.1% school‑impact fee adjustment based on the consumer price index for the Seattle‑Tacoma‑Bellevue area; staff implemented that CPI‑based adjustment on April 1 to align permit fees with the formula the council previously approved. The city received a written concern from the school district about the not‑yet‑adopted calculated school impact fee; staff said they will review the district’s capital facilities plan once the school board finalizes it and return with any recommended modifications.
Council moved, seconded and approved Resolution 1879 by voice vote.
