Farmers Market to move from Millstream Park; Select Board eyes modest park improvements

Board members discussed clearing vegetation, installing informational signs, adding benches or picnic spots, removing debris from former dam structures, and low-cost measures such as fencing adjustments and viewing areas.
Members noted some improvements could be handled through routine maintenance without major permitting, while others — for example changes to retaining walls or substantial grading — would require approvals. No binding decisions or funding commitments were made; the Board requested staff develop concepts and estimate costs for future consideration.
