Advisory committee increases egg-addling funds and backs a warrant article to address geese

The motion, made by Gary Bluestein and seconded by Dan Lewenberg, passed with members voting in favor. The committee discussed that a warrant article at Town Meeting will be required to pursue broader measures to reduce the goose population; Chair Laura Henze Russell said she would take the lead on drafting the warrant article and Aruna Ramachandran volunteered to assist.
The committee recorded support for pursuing the warrant article but recognized that any regulatory or population-reduction measures would require Town Meeting approval and implementation steps coordinated with town staff.
