A speaker identified as S2 said the event was hosted at Bergen Arts and Science Charter High School in partnership with NJMEP, which S2 described as “an organization that provides manufacturing opportunities in the Tri-State area.” S2 said the school and iLearnSchools aim to give students exposure to robotics and other manufacturing technologies.
Another speaker identified as S1 walked students through a robotic gripper demonstration, describing steps such as moving to waypoints, sensing contact and operating the gripper. S1 expressed appreciation to NGNBP for providing the opportunity and hands-on activities to help students prepare for careers.
The session focused on demonstrations and student engagement rather than formal decisions or policy actions. No motions, votes or official government actions were recorded.
