Scott County School Board unanimously closes out 2025–26 budget, authorizes superintendent to make final appropriations

The Board later approved School Operating Fund expenditures totaling $5,319,100.77, which the minutes show left a cash balance of $203,547.87. The minutes state that, once all funding is received by June 30, 2026, Superintendent Jason Smith is authorized to make any necessary adjustments to the expenditure list to close the 2025–2026 School Operating Fund to a zero balance.
