The board also approved an engagement letter with Robinson, Farmer Cox Associates to perform the county audit for the year ending June 2026.
Appointments and administrative actions: The board appointed Samantha Crockett and Rebecca Martel as Mount Rogers alternates to the county CPMT, approved the naming of a private driveway as Pooja Drive, adopted a support resolution for the Bastian wastewater project with the Service Authority, and granted a 12‑month extension to a conditional‑use permit for Tax Map No. 93‑A‑27 (Rock Wall Drive). The supervisors adopted a resolution certifying the end of the local burn‑ban emergency effective May 26, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. and recessed the meeting until June 5, 2026.
