The permit was approved with a specific exclusion: the Historical Society may not install a pedestrian bridge over the creek as part of the event. The minutes record the motion to recommend approval, moved by Alderperson Krull and seconded by Alderperson Hurkman, with the motion carried.
The Memorial Day parade permit was also recommended for approval after Police Chief Schultz reported DOT permits had been secured and an updated staging map placed parade staging at Emmanuel Lutheran Church with a route down Main Street.
