The River Ridge Community Development District on Nov. 19 approved a $105,000 contract with AV-Tech LLC to install three permanent and one mobile 15-inch solar-powered digital speed radar signs equipped with cameras and messaging, plus cloud traffic devices and subscriptions.
Operations Manager Shane Willis presented the AV-Tech LLC estimates (24150 and 24151) as part of the long-term traffic calming plan. Mr. Long suggested acquiring an additional mobile unit and noted relocation options for an existing unit. The package approved by the board includes $1,500 per year per cloud traffic device for data and subscription services.
On a motion by Bob Schultz, seconded by Kurt Blumenthal, the board approved the AV-Tech estimates for a combined total of $105,000, with the minutes recording unanimous support.
The minutes note budgeted traffic-calming funds and a suggestion that the homeowner association take over cloud device costs in the future and offset them with covenant fine revenues collected by PSGRC.
