The court approved county payroll for the pay period ending Oct. 24, 2025, accepted an engagement letter with Patillo Brown & Hill LLP to audit Harrison County juvenile services for the year ended Aug. 31, 2025, and authorized the county judge to execute the agreement.
Commissioners approved a $200,000 transfer to group health insurance to cover medical claims and ratified several utility applications for work in county rights-of-way — Cypress Valley Water Supply, Etech Telephone Co-op, CenterPoint Energy and Spectrum Gulf Coast — after staff confirmed the paperwork met specifications.
Procurements approved included two Enterprise Fleet Management quotes for 2026 Ford F‑150 trucks with a surveyor package intended for the county crime-scene investigator Kaylee Wallace and a second staff member. The court also accepted a $50 donation from Harry Haynes in memory of retired Sergeant Bill Patterson, designated on the check for the sheriff’s K‑9 program, and approved payment of $3,876 to Texans Feeding Texans for FY2026 senior meal services.
