Council appoints Michael Wooley to fill Ward D seat

Wooley said he was the “new kid on the block” but familiar with Roosevelt County and expressed appreciation for the opportunity to serve. The council welcomed him and asked him to sign required documents following the oath.
The appointment fills the Ward D vacancy and takes effect immediately; the mayor and council thanked residents who submitted letters of interest.
