The Harvard School Committee on Dec. 15 approved a three-year employment contract for Dana Labb to serve as superintendent of schools effective July 1, 2026, with a starting salary of $190,000. The motion to approve the contract passed by a roll-call vote of 4-0; Dr. Katharine Covino moved and Liz Joyce seconded the motion.
After the vote, Labb signed the contract and committee members offered congratulations. Chair Abigail Besse led the session that moved into and then out of executive session for contract negotiations earlier in the meeting. The committee recorded no dissenting votes on the contract approval.
