"PO has been submitted and so now we're just waiting for their timeline...we wanna get it done by the end of this month," he said, warning the work will probably require several days of runway closure.
On fuel, board members asked whether the airport could run tenant appreciation discounts or a recurring discounted day. Eric said staff are exploring event-based discounts (a fly-in or appreciation day) but that the baseline pricing strategy remains unchanged to preserve margins to fund capital projects: "No change in the price strategy...we still try to maintain the profit margins...to build some of these projects," he said (Eric).
The board also took two procedural actions: a member moved and the board approved minutes for Feb. 12 and March 17; later a member moved to adjourn and the motion was seconded and the meeting concluded.
