Amityville board OKs seasonal hires, two volunteer firefighters and accepts community donation

Trustees approved refunds of two $175 beach pavilion rental fees and accepted a donation from John Di Liberto/Island Drafting & Technical Institute of a conference room table with four chairs and a Ricoh MP CW2201 SP Plotter Printer.
All motions on personnel, licenses and the donation were approved by unanimous 4–0 votes. Public comments were recorded at the end of the meeting; Hugo and Linda Lopez and Carolyn Franco were noted as speakers but no remarks are quoted in the transcript.
