Planning staff presented a request from Camas City to amend the official zoning map to reflect prior land‑use decisions approved by the City Council and said a comprehensive review had verified those council actions. "Staff recommends that the planning commission review the final zoning map and forward a positive recommendation to the City Council for adoption," the staff member said.
Commissioners reviewed the map and raised concerns that some city perimeter lines did not follow individual lot lines, citing discrepancies on the south and north ends and near a specific property on the east. The chair and a commissioner asked staff (Jill) to review the complete perimeter and correct any drafting placement issues so parcel boundaries align with property lines.
A commissioner said the issues appeared to be minor drafting errors; the commission moved to forward the zoning map to the council with modifications to correct property‑line and boundary alignments. The motion was seconded and the commission voted in favor.
Staff will prepare corrected map files for the City Council packet. The commission then moved on to a separate code amendment item.
