Jeff Larimer presented the Phase II materials from the Harriman study to the RSU 23 board on Nov. 10, reviewing feedback gathered from cohort meetings at each school and laying out existing place‑planning and space‑planning options for K–8 and 9–12 facilities.
The facilities committee will meet to review and vet the information and then reconvene with Larimer to provide feedback. District leaders said they will plan a community meeting to present options publicly and solicit input before any formal decisions or project selections are made.
Board members and committee representatives emphasized that some projects identified by Harriman are urgent and cannot wait; the facilities committee continues monthly meetings to prioritize immediate repairs and longer‑range planning. No capital project authorization or funding decision was made at this meeting.
