Poseyville council approves routine claims, payables and maintenance agreements

The Poseyville Town Council approved a series of routine motions by unanimous roll call during its March 11 meeting, including approvals of meeting minutes, claims and payroll dockets, a water-equipment maintenance agreement, an SRF pay request, and a hiring action for summer mowing labor.
Specific actions approved included: approval of the Feb. 11 and Feb. 25 meeting minutes; approval of the 2024 end-of-year claims docket and the current claims docket; approval of the Payroll Allowance Docket and February 2025 bank reconciliation; acceptance of the 2024 Annual Financial Report; adoption of the State of Indiana Deferred Compensation Plan Resolution/Adoption Agreement (Hoosier Start/Nationwide); hiring Denny House as a part-time summer mower at $16.00 per hour, funded equally from MVH, Water, Sewer and Gas funds; entering a HACH maintenance agreement for the water plant; approving an SRF disbursement pay request for $5,632.50 from Midwest Engineers for asset-management charges; approving the FOP Range Agreement and associated $100 payment for Feb. 1, 2025–Jan. 31, 2026; and authorizing service and pump testing for fire-department trucks.
Most votes were made by motion from Randy (Randall) Rankin or Mike Baehl and were seconded and carried by roll call votes that recorded Justin Rutledge, Mike Baehl and Randy Rankin as voting yes.
Where noted in the minutes, staff had provided supporting materials to councilors prior to the meeting (claims docket, HACH agreement, SRF disbursement request, runs report). The council did not record any dissenting votes in the meeting minutes.
