Trustees approve April minutes, adjust 2026 meeting dates and discuss library addition plans

At the May 14 meeting, Chair Gretchen Whitcomb opened the session and trustees moved to approve the April 2026 minutes; Carter Sartell made the motion, Nicole Concordia seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Trustees agreed to change the June meeting to Tuesday, June 9, move the July meeting to July 16 and cancel the August meeting; the rest of the year will be scheduled for the second Thursday. Whitcomb confirmed that drawings for a proposed library addition were scanned and given to Carter, and she will contact Carol to post the drawings to the Trustees website and add them to the Trustees orientation materials. Whitcomb also said she will forward contractor Thomas StCyr's information to trustees for installing a high-arc sink faucet.
Trustee Diane Rees said she had been contacted by Randy Martin of the Historical Society about cooperating on a library addition; Whitcomb said she would invite Martin to a June or July meeting. The trustees set the next meeting for June 9, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. Carter motioned to adjourn at 7:14 p.m.; Diane seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
