The Temple Conservation Commission opened its May 13 session by approving the April 8 minutes on a motion from Vice Chair Sean Radcliffe and a second from Beth Preston.
Under updates, members reported there was no new information on the Heald Tract connector; Mike Madden and Scott Hecker agreed to work on a connecting trail from East Road. Cathy Joly said she would try to extract NRI maps for the website using screenshots, and Beth Preston confirmed she handled the 'ABCs of Temple' informational item.
Vice Chair Sean Radcliffe reported that loggers again worked in Wilton’s Heald Tract and left substantial slash and ruts; he advised the commission to be specific about desired practices when selecting loggers for Skladaney. The meeting concluded when Beth Preston moved to adjourn, Clay Lennartz seconded, and members ended the meeting at 7:54 p.m. Minutes were submitted by Cathy Joly.
