The board also recorded that Selectman Daniel Staples and Chairman Grover visited Friendship to view a veterans memorial and will gather quotes and proposed inscription language.
In a separate motion (Chairman Grover moved; Selectman Staples seconded), the board directed Selectman Laurie Haynes to speak with Animal Control Officer Stephen Stimpson about his responsibilities; that motion carried 5-0-0. The minutes record no citizen comments during the meeting. The board entered executive session at 6:35 p.m. to discuss a personnel matter under 1 M.R.S.A. § 405(6)(A) and returned to open session at 6:49 p.m.; the meeting adjourned at 6:54 p.m.
