Cushing selectmen approve pole location and sign state road-certification, approve warrants and minutes
Summary
At the July 27 meeting selectmen approved an application for a utility pole location on Stones Point Road, signed the Local Road Assistance Program certification (making the town eligible for $21,600), and carried routine motions approving warrants and the July 13 minutes.
The Cushing selectmen approved a pole-location application from Northern New England Telephone Operations LLC and Central Maine Power Company for a pole on Stones Point Road approximately 1,276 feet southeasterly of Pleasant Point Road.
The board signed the Local Road Assistance Program certification for 2015–2016, which makes the town eligible to receive $21,600 for capital improvements to town roads.
Earlier in the meeting the board approved Warrant #28 and #29 (motion by Selectman Daniel Staples, second by Selectman Laurie Haynes) and accepted the minutes of the July 13, 2015 meeting (motion by Staples, second by Haynes); those motions carried 3-0-0.
There were no citizen comments recorded, and the meeting adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
