"So with that being said, we will continue having the citizen's voice both at the beginning of the meeting and at the end of the meeting. Please limit your time to 3 minutes," the mayor said during the discussion.
The mayor clarified that CitizensVoice is intended as a time for residents to speak and is not a back‑and‑forth forum; the clerk said complaints raised during CitizensVoice will be addressed when departments and trustees give their reports later in the meeting. The motion to adopt the new format was made, seconded and carried with all members responding "Aye."
