Plan Commission recommends approval of Quarry Park final plat with conditions

The Cedarburg Plan Commission on May 4 recommended approval of the final plat for the Quarry Park subdivision, a 24-lot single-family neighborhood on about 11.5 acres east of Stone Lake.
Planner Mary summarized that the applicant had satisfied conditions of the preliminary plat and that staff recommended final approval subject to five conditions: final approval by the city engineer and director of public works and the water utility; satisfaction of objecting agencies' review comments; correction of clerical errors called out in the staff report; execution of a stormwater management and maintenance agreement prior to final plat execution; and concurrent recording of the plat, declaration of covenants and the stormwater agreement only after the city engineer certifies required improvements have been completed.
Commissioners noted the application was largely technical and "buttoning up" remaining items from earlier approvals. With a motion and second on the record, the commission voted by voice to approve the recommendation to the Common Council.
Mary emphasized that individual homes in the subdivision will still be subject to individual review by the site and architectural review board before building permits are issued.
