The Plan Commission on March 2 approved the proposed covenants and restrictions for Quarry Park, a 24‑lot single‑family subdivision east/north of Stone Lake Circle and Holly Lane.
Planner Mary said the covenants and restrictions will be incorporated into the PUD and reflected prior SARB feedback. SARB asked the commission to consider increasing the maximum front garage door height from 7 feet to 8 feet; Cornerstone Development’s Joe Orndorff told the commission that a taller door improves traffic clearance for larger vehicles and enhances the façade proportionally. Commission members and SARB agreed the 8‑foot recommendation was reasonable for the development’s design.
Mary noted SARB’s requirement that participating builders bring their house plans to SARB for review and said the covenants would require that review prior to issuance of building permits. Commissioners moved and approved the covenants with the SARB recommendations.
During discussion a developer representative estimated a range of possible home prices for the subdivision but said final figures would depend on market conditions and design choices.
