CHLPC’s Ruth Hermanson urges council support for Rest Haven repairs

She described immediate safety and usability concerns — a front door with gaps and a high padlock that can blow open in heavy winds, splits in wood, rattling windows and the potential to put screens on two windows to allow cross-ventilation. She said the group planned a CHLPC Rest Haven meeting and would share more details with the council afterward.
Hermanson asked the council to consider partnering through next year’s budget or the following year to support the Rest Haven renovation; council members thanked her for the update and for the accompanying photos of needed work.
