City of Fredonia proposes compost lot on county buyout parcel during public hearing

Sharon Torres, identified in the minutes as City Clerk of Fredonia, told the board the city was considering using the property for a city compost lot. Supervisor Chris Ball moved to open the hearing and Supervisor Randy Griffin seconded; later the board moved to close the hearing at 9:20 a.m. The minutes record the City Clerk’s statement but do not record a final transfer vote during the session.
The county will retain the record of the hearing and any next procedural steps; the minutes note only that the hearing occurred and that Torres described the planned compost use.
