The council also directed City Attorney Larry Tyrrell to draft a resolution authorizing demolition of the property known as "Houston Mill." Both motions passed unanimously.
Equipment purchase and special meeting: The council approved purchase of a Cub Cadet Pro Z 960L mower from S&H Farm Supply for $3,639.87 with trade‑in of a 2018 John Deere 2025R (trade‑in value $9,000). A special council meeting was scheduled for April 28, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. The meeting adjourned at 7:26 p.m.
