"As we head into the weekend, reminder, Monday night is our school board work session," Rick Ollie said, announcing the meeting and inviting community attendance. He listed openings the board will address, saying, "We are looking for an elementary principal, community education slash events support worker" and that the district is also seeking a special education teacher. Ollie said the board will hear updates on those hiring processes and outline next steps.
The session will also cover results from a strategic planning process the district conducted over the past month. Ollie thanked participants who submitted surveys and provided guidance and information, and said the board expects to set updated goals and objectives "maybe in the next year."
The work session is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. in the Forum Room. Ollie closed the announcement with a community sign-off and encouraged attendance.
