Commission hears report on water intrusion and roof leaks at Law Enforcement Center

Commissioner Rick Pedersen told the Humboldt Public Safety Commission that contractor Jim Gronbach plans to pour cement at the Law Enforcement Center's west entrance to address water entering the building. Pedersen also reported that the center's roof is leaking in three different locations.
Staff member Dean Kruger said representatives from H & S of Spencer were scheduled to inspect and address the leaks that day and that the repairs should be covered by warranty. No formal motion or funding allocation for the repairs was recorded in the minutes; the item was discussed as old business and will remain under follow-up review.
The commission took no formal vote specific to repairs during the meeting; routine maintenance updates were recorded in the minutes.
