The Shelby City Council on Sept. 12, 2023, approved Precision Change Order No. 2, increasing the contract by $25,940.83 to add a retaining wall, during a special meeting presided over by Mayor Ron Kroll.
Council member Pat Honeywell moved to approve the Sept. 12 agenda; Council member Rick Kiesel seconded. The roll call was recorded as “All ayes,” and the motion carried. Mayor Ron Kroll asked whether any member had a conflict of interest; none were reported.
On a subsequent motion by Council member Pat Honeywell, seconded by Council member Karen Schlueter, the council approved Precision Change Order No. 2, described in the minutes as an increase of $25,940.83 to add a retaining wall. The minutes record the change order as having been approved.
Present at the meeting were Council members Jackie Hursey, Karen Schlueter, Rick Kiesel, Chris Evans and Pat Honeywell; Mayor Ron Kroll presided. The meeting adjourned at 7:15 p.m. The minutes are signed by Mayor Ron Kroll and City Clerk Chris Martin.
