Amanda Millette appeared before the board to update a site-plan review for Forrest Howes Auto and said she is seeking a state license that would allow the business to sell automobiles abandoned at the shop by their owners. She told the board there are no plans to sell more than two vehicles on the lot at a time and that she intends to install a lift to support the shop's operations.
Stuart Pitts moved to accept the new site plan; Sherrill Howard seconded the motion. Chair Jake Tuck called the vote, and the motion passed unanimously.
The minutes do not record conditions attached to the approval, a timeline for the state license application, or any required inspections. The applicant or Planning and Zoning staff would be the parties to provide next steps for state licensing and any administrative permits.
