Campton CIP Committee approves $682,500 in final recommendations, sets public hearing for Nov. 12

The Town of Campton Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Committee unanimously approved final recommendations totaling $682,500 at a meeting on Oct. 7, 2025, and set a public hearing for Nov. 12, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.
Karl Kelly, chair of the CIP Committee, opened the meeting at 1:04 p.m. Committee member Bill Frye moved to accept the minutes from Sept. 10, 2025; Jack Letvinchuk seconded and the motion to approve the minutes passed unanimously. Later, Frye moved to approve the committee's final CIP recommendations and Letvinchuk seconded; that motion also passed unanimously.
The adopted recommendations allocate $150,000 for Fire Rescue Vehicles; $7,500 for Fire Equipment; $100,000 for Highway Department Equipment; $50,000 for Solid Waste; $75,000 to the Municipal Building Fund; and $300,000 to the Road Fund. The minutes record no additions this year for Police Cruisers or the Blair Bridge Fund. The total of the recommended allocations is $682,500.
The committee announced a public hearing on the recommendations to be held Nov. 12, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., giving members of the public an opportunity to comment before the town advances the CIP. The minutes record no board concerns or directives under the related agenda item.
