Commissioners discussed detention area placement and the need for road improvements, sidewalks and curb/gutter work. A motion to table the petition was moved, seconded and carried by voice vote; the tabling preserves the authority's ability to require design changes before the petition returns for further review.
Staff will continue to work with the petitioner on stormwater design and road improvements prior to returning the petition to the board.
